Acknowledgments

I love how books have an acknowledgments section giving readers a glimpse into just how much support it takes to bring a book to life. I don’t know why we don’t do that for more of our creations–like websites! So here’s mine.

My writings/projects/creations exist because a lot of people have encouraged me and helped me remember myself over and over (and over) again.

Thank you to my husband for the endless yappy hours. Many things on this site exist because of your willingness to let me verbally process over sushi.

Thank you to my dear friend Morgan Day Cecil for always being on speed dial for the many “wtf am I doing?” moments and for being the sister I never had. You have helped bring this tortoise out of her shell more times than I’d like to remember.

Thank you to my dear friend Reese for all the late night voice memos.

Thank you to Holly and Linda for being invaluable mentors over the years.

Thank you to my parents for modeling the entrepreneurial spirit and showing me that there were alternate paths to success than sitting under shitty office lighting.

To my brother for giving me endless childhood content to write about.

Thank you to my photographer friends, Irina, Morgan, and Laura who have generously taught me their tricks for taking better photos and for taking photos of me.

To my incredible clients who have trusted me with their challenges, projects, dreams, and inner worlds, I appreciate each of you.

To the readers who keep coming back to meet me at the page/screen, thank you, thank you, thank you.

And to the many others who aren’t named here but who have inspired a scene, offered a suggestion, or read my work. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
